Epoxy Resin Floors

Epoxy resin floors are a long lasting and extremely hard wearing alternative to traditional choices such as tiles and are a perfect solution for anyone looking to install a highly decorative, easily cleaned and extremely hygienic floor surface.

Epoxy resin floors are becoming increasingly popular in the UK, with different types of decorative finishes including,

The epoxy installations are extremely high quality, the look and feel of the finished product being down to the quality of the epoxy resin used. This is sourced from the world’s largest epoxy resin manufacturer and supplier, Ox Resin, who have developed their epoxy’s to the highest standard. Their pigments and blends mix together in a way that is far superior to other epoxy products.

Epoxy Resin Worktops

Are you looking to refresh your outdated bathroom or kitchen worktop? Epoxy resin is a great option for restoring old, dated kitchen and bathroom surfaces.

Colours and patterns

A great feature of this material is that it comes in a wide variety of colours and tints. By mixing plain resin and hardener, you will get a clear, glossy finish. This type of epoxy is perfect for sealing or restoring wood countertops. You can also add white or coloured pigments to create opaque epoxy to hide blemished and worn surfaces. Pouring one colour in a pattern on top of a different coloured base will result in a unique piece of art. You can even use this method to recreate the look of granite or marble. As resins come in many colours, and can be finished with different techniques, there is no limit to what resin surfaces could look like.

Advantages of an Epoxy Resin Worktop

Durable And Long Lasting

Epoxy resin is durable. Once cured, it has the strength of over 10,000psi, meaning it can withstand 10,000 pounds of pressure concentrated on a single square inch, so will easily cope with day to day kitchen life and the odd mishap.

One of the biggest downfalls of laminates and even expensive granites and marble is that, you will have visible joints, that can disrupt the pattern of the counter. Because epoxy goes on as a liquid, there are no joint lines.

So no matter what size your surface, you end up with a single continuous piece from one end to the other.

Infinite Design Options

The simplest way to use epoxy resin is as a clear, gloss finish. But adding colour will provide an opaque finish to match any kitchen colour scheme.

You can even mix colours together during an opaque application process to create art or imitate natural finishes. Adding glitter or metallic resin adds yet another design option.

The options are limitless – it’s your design.

“We have no hesitation in recommending Jon, who is able to provide a wide range of kitchen fittings and has produced some excellent results. We also found him great to work with because he communicated well and was so accommodating of our own design ideas.

We have ended up with a unique ‘wow’ product that is also very practical. Many thanks, Jon“

HAPPY CLIENTS

Customer satisfaction is my top priority

“We were particularly pleased with the quality of finish Jon achieved but also very happy with the price charged and to have found a tradesman we were happy to leave in our home whilst we were at work“

Rob and Kerri C

“Jon has been doing different work for us now for several years, including the major renovation of our existing house. Nothing is ever too much trouble and his quality of work has always been excellent.

I have recommended him to friends of mine and they have been just as pleased with his standard of work. He is conscious and trustworthy and a great workman.“

Sally and Andy P

“Jon & Andy were extremely professional working with a Mirostone Cassata worktop, they cut out a hole for the sink, a tap and around pipework and everything was cut to the millimetre of perfection and installed fantastically in to our kitchen. The worktop was then highly buffed and polished to a lovely high gloss finish, it makes our kitchen look amazing.

They were hard working, clean and tidy with their craftsmanship and would give them five stars out of five, highly recommend and would definitely use their services again for kitchen works.”

Vanessa and Rob Miller

“We were completely delighted with the work that Jon did for us recently in replacing our kitchen worktops and sink unit. He provided invaluable knowledgeable advice about the options available and what would work best in our kitchen and at no point did we feel pressurised into making a decision. He was flexible in agreeing a date for the work and was an unassuming friendly presence in our home while he was working.

As for the quality of his work it was absolutely outstanding and the finished product is stunning. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who is planning a kitchen refurbishment.”

Anne and Roger

“We recently had our kitchen redesigned but we kept our existing white goods and cooker. There were a lot of extra cupboards in this new layout, which also included a cooker hood with ducting to a new vent in the external wall, plus an integrated microwave.

As you can imagine, this involved a great deal of disruption; but, thanks to Jon’s management and personal skills, the result has met all our needs and exceeded our expectations. We are delighted with our new kitchen.

He is a very polite gentleman and helpful. Jon’s workmanship is extremely accurate and he goes out of his way to incorporate suggestions of changes to the plans, if and when they arise or are appropriate.”
